Founded in 1953 by Joe Bernier Sr. and Jake Pinette in 1996, J & J Cleaners was purchased from Joe Bernier Jr by James and David Machesney. In 2010, James Machesney Jr. purchased the company. Though the company has changed hands, our mission has always remained the same – to provide customers with dependable, convenient dry cleaning services to customers throughout the Midcoast area.

Our friendly, knowledgeable staff values professionalism and focuses on quality and on-time delivery. With the exception of leathers and furs all of our cleaning is done on site, so you know your items are being handled by only our team. Most of our services are completed in a 3 day process, but dry cleaning and laundry services are always geared to an in today, out tomorrow schedule.
